Valve insertions allow a new, permanent valve to be installed on an active pipeline without shutting it down. Using specialized equipment, A&A Drilling installs the valve directly into the pipe wall so you gain full flow control where there wasn’t a valve before; all while the line stays pressurized.

Valve insertion is a method of installing a permanent control valve into an active pipeline without shutting down the system. Hydra-Stop’s Insta-Valve® allows operators to isolate a specific section of pipe while keeping the rest of the system in service.

Installation is completed using a single under-pressure line tap into the top of the pipe. The valve is inserted and permanently seated without reaming or cutting the pipe.
